The hotel is conveniently located just on the edge of the old town, making it easy to explore the city center. The staff at this hotel are welcoming and provide a superior attention to cleanliness. The rooms, which were once storage spaces, have been transformed with IKEA-type furniture and offer a well-appointed and modern design. The breakfast included in the stay features locally produced food, giving guests a taste of the region.
No negative aspect mentioned, all was satisfactory.

This hotel is truly a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Schaffhausen. The location is unbeatable, just on the edge of the charming old town. You can easily explore all the sights and attractions on foot, as everything is really near. Plus, it's great value for money considering the prime location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms immaculately clean and comfortable. On a 170 km bike ride with my teenage son, we literally fell into the comfortable beds. Break fast excellent with fresh fruit. The old building is renovated very well with great furniture and a lot of charm. Also, you are right in town and on the bikepath

The coffee was also excellent. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, being just a two-minute walk from the train station and close to the old town, shopping, restaurants, and museums. The staff provided top-notch service, offering recommendations for dinner and going above and beyond to accommodate our needs, such as providing a sewing repair kit and a kettle for our room. The mix of modern and antique decor in the hotel was beautiful, creating a unique and cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

Spent a lovely Xmas in the heart of a small town in Switzerland. The hotel was ideally located next to the train station and close to the main sights and restaurants. The atmosphere inside the cosy hotel was very homely, with lovely exposed wooden beams and pillars. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a great selection and was really enjoyable. There were also many nearby restaurants we could experience.
The room we stayed in had a strange overpowering smell that was not pleasant. However, it did seem to fade after a day.

The buffet breakfast was incredible with a wide variety of choices, including delicious Bircher muesli, cheeses, cold meats, and pastries. The coffee was excellent as well. The room was comfortable and in a great location, just minutes from the train station and close to attractions. The staff provided exceptional service, suggesting restaurants and going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The hotel has a beautiful blend of history and modern comfort. Highly recommended!
All was perfect.

The breakfast was good with a nice selection of food and drinks. the hotel was in a great location, a stone's throw from the train station, making it easy to explore the nearby town center. the room was spacious and comfortable with complimentary tea and coffee facilities. There was also a great view of the city from the window, creating a serene atmosphere.
The staff members were scarce and not very communicative. the room decor was outdated and could use a modern touch.
